Product Name: Fresh Express Gourmet Café Chicken Caesar Salad Bowls

Reason for Recall: The chicken used in the salad bowls may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause serious illness.

Products Affected: 5.75-ounce Gourmet Café Chicken Caesar Salad Bowls with the following:

  • Use-by dates of October 26, October 27, October 30, and November 2, 2024

  • Package codes S281, S282, S285, S288

  • Universal Product Code (UPC) 071279565620

Dates Sold: The salad bowls with the affected use-by dates were likely sold in the days leading up to and including those dates.

Where Sold: The salad bowls were distributed in California, Louisiana, Texas, and Washington.

What to Do: If you have any of the affected salad bowls, do not eat them. You should throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them for a full refund. You can also call Fresh Express at (800) 242-5472 for more information.
