Product Name: Babcock Dairy is recalling its Orange Custard Chocolate Chip ice cream.

Reason for Recall: Some containers of Orange Custard Chocolate Chip ice cream were mislabeled as Chocolate Peanut Butter, which could be dangerous for people with egg allergies.

Products Affected: Half-gallon containers of Orange Custard Chocolate Chip ice cream with the production date 09 1724 (September 17, 2024).

Dates Sold: The affected ice cream was produced on September 17, 2024.

Where Sold: The ice cream was sold at retail stores and directly to consumers in Wisconsin, including Babcock Dairy Store, Metcalfe’s Markets, Ken’s Meats & Deli and Capitol Centre Market.

What to Do: If you purchased this ice cream, check the production date on the bottom of the container. If the date is 09 1724, return the product to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
