Gaines Family Farmstead Chicken Chips Recall
Product Name: Gaines Family Farmstead Chicken Chips for Dogs
Reason for Recall: The product is being recalled because it may be contaminated with Salmonella.
Products Affected: 5-ounce bags of "Gaines Family Farmstead Chicken Chips" with lot number 20061124 and an expiration date of 12/11/25
Dates Sold: The announcement doesn't state the dates the products were sold, but the recall was announced on November 22, 2024.
Where Sold: Online retailers and some independent pet stores in Alabama, Florida and Georgia
What to Do: Customers who purchased the affected product should stop using it and contact Gaines at [email protected] for a refund or replacement.
Grimmway Farms Organic Whole Carrots Recall-Expanded
Product Name: Grimmway Farms Organic Whole Carrots
Reason for Recall: The carrots may be contaminated with a harmful bacteria called E.coli O121:H19.
Products Affected: All sizes of Bunny Luv and Cal-Organic branded organic whole carrots. Good & Gather brand 1lb and 2lb bags of organic whole carrots are also included.
Dates Sold: The carrots were sold in stores from August 14, 2024 to October 23, 2024. The recalled carrots do not have "best-if-used-by" dates printed on the bags.
Where Sold: The carrots were sold at retail stores across the country.
What to Do: If you have any of the recalled carrots, do not eat them. Throw the carrots away and clean any surfaces they may have touched. If you are concerned about an illness, please contact a medical professional. You can contact Grimmway Farms with any questions at 1-866- 912-9552.
Fresh Gourmet Tortilla Strips Recall
Product Name: Fresh Gourmet Tortilla Strips Santa Fe Style
Reason for Recall: The tortilla strips are being recalled because some packages may contain crispy onion strips, which contain wheat that is not listed on the product label.
Products Affected: 3.5 ounce pouches of Fresh Gourmet Tortilla Strips Santa Fe Style with UPC Code 7 87359 17504 6 and a Best By Date of June 20, 2025
Dates Sold: The product was sold between September 30, 2024, and November 11, 2024.
Where Sold: The chips were sold in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, MD, ME, MI, MN, NC, NJ, OH, OR, PA, TX, UT, VA, and WA.
