Fabalish "Kickin' Carrot Falafel Bites" Recall
Product Name: This recall affects Fabalish "Kickin' Carrot Falafel Bites."
Reason for Recall: The falafel bites are being recalled because they may be contaminated with a harmful bacteria called E. coli O121:H19.
Products Affected: The recall affects 10 oz. orange boxes labeled as "Fabalish Kickin' Carrot Falafel Bites" with the lot code 260925 on the side flap.
Dates Sold: The affected falafel bites were sold from an unspecified date to November 18, 2024.
Where Sold: The products were sold online through the Fabalish website (www.fabalish.com) and shipped to consumers in the following states: FL, NY, WA, TN, CA, IN, OH, IL, NH, VA, GA, NE, CO, UT, KS, TX, MA, and MT.
What to Do: Customers who purchased these falafel bites should throw them away and send a photo of the discarded product to [email protected] for a full refund. You can also contact Fabalish Inc. with questions at (201) 942-2900, Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm EST.
Whole Foods Market Organic Carrot Product Recall
Product Name: This recall affects Whole Foods Market Organic Carrot Sticks and Organic Carrots & Celery.
Reason for Recall: The carrots may be contaminated with a harmful bacteria called E. coli O121:H19.
Products Affected: The specific products recalled are the 15 oz. containers of Whole Foods Market Organic Carrot Sticks and the 15 oz. containers of Whole Foods Market Organic Carrots & Celery. The containers will have a code on them including the letters “GH” followed by three digits ranging from 236 – 284. They will also have "best if sold by" dates ranging from September 1, 2024, to October 19, 2024.
Dates Sold: These products were sold between September 1, 2024, and October 19, 2024.
Where Sold: The recalled products were sold at Whole Foods Market stores in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, and Nevada.
What to Do: If you have these products, do not eat them. Throw them away and clean and sanitize any surfaces they may have touched. If you are concerned about an illness, contact a medical professional. You can also contact F&S Fresh Foods, the company that packaged the recalled products, with any questions at (888)449-9386. They are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific Time.
