This week's saw multiple food recalls due to potential Salmonella contamination. Fresh Creative Foods recalled Beef & Lamb Gyro Sandwich Express Meal Kits due to possibly contaminated cucumbers in the included tzatziki sauce. F&S Fresh Foods recalled their Mediterranean Inspired Party Tray for the same reason. Hardie's Fresh Foods also recalled a batch of cucumbers due to Salmonella concerns. The affected products were sold at various retailers nationwide, including Sam's Club, Ralph's, Smith's, and Costco. Consumers are advised not to consume the recalled products and return them to the place of purchase for a refund.

Beef & Lamb Gyro Sandwich Express Meal Kit Recall
Product Name: Fresh Creative Foods Beef & Lamb Gyro Sandwich Express Meal Kit
Reason for Recall: The cucumbers in the tzatziki sauce included in the meal kit may be contaminated with Salmonella.
Products Affected: Beef & Lamb Gyro Sandwich Express Meal Kits with UPC: 0-13454-38313-1 and a use by date of 12/24/2024 – 1/6/2025.
Dates Sold: The affected meal kits were sold between December 24th, 2024, and January 6th, 2025.
Where Sold: Sam’s Club warehouses nationwide.
What to Do: If you have purchased this product, do not eat it. Discard the meal kit and visit any Sam's Club for a full refund. You can also call Fresh Creative Foods with any questions at 888-223-2127, Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific Time.
Mediterranean Inspired Party Tray Recall
Product Name: F&S Fresh Foods Mediterranean Inspired Party Tray
Reason for Recall: The tzatziki sauce in the party tray may be contaminated with Salmonella because of contaminated cucumbers.
Products Affected: 22 oz. Mediterranean Inspired Party Trays with the letters “GH” followed by three digits ranging from 325 - 339 on the packaging and sell-by dates ranging from 11/27/24 to 12/11/24. The containers are plastic clamshells, and the affected dip is in a separate lidded cup.
Dates Sold: The affected party trays were sold between November 27th, 2024 and December 11th, 2024.
Where Sold: Ralph’s stores in California and Smith’s stores in Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming.
What to Do: If you purchased this product and still have it, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the store where it was purchased. Clean and sanitize any surfaces the product may have touched. If you are experiencing symptoms of Salmonella poisoning, such as fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain, contact a medical professional. Cucumber Recall
Product Name: Hardie's Fresh Foods CUCUMBER SELECT 6 CT cucumbers.
Reason for Recall: The cucumbers may be contaminated with Salmonella, which can make people sick.
Products Affected: Whole cucumbers sold in clear plastic bags with the lot codes X2377074, X2379602, X2381000, X2381080, X2383400, X2384557, and X2384587 on the label.
Dates Sold: The source doesn't list the dates the cucumbers were sold, but the FDA published the recall on December 7th, 2024.
Where Sold: Costco locations in Houston, TX and Dallas, TX.
